1. Arm techniques:
1.1. Straight punches (Kizami tzuki, gyaku tzuki) 1.2. Back fist strike (Uraken uchi) 1.3. Roundhouse Punch (Mawashi tsuki) 1.4. Spinning back fist (Uraken uchi) 1.5. Upper punch (ura zuki) 1.6. Square punch (Kage zuki) |
2. Foot/leg techniques:
2.1. Straight kicks (Mae geri, yoko geri) 2.2. Round kicks (Mawashi geri, ura mawashi geri, mekazuki geri) 2.3. Spinning kicks (Ushiro geri, ushiro ura mawashi geri) 2.4. Jumping kicks (Any kick mentioned above with a jump) 2.5. Knee Strikes to body, head and legs |
3. Clinching & Takedowns
3.1. Leg Take Downs (Sweeps) 3.2. Clinch Take Downs 3.3. Clinching the opponent is allowed only when followed by immediate action such as a sweep. 3.3. Clinching will be given a 5 sec count by Referee, if no action occurs participants will be reset/broken up. 3.4. No takedowns will be allowed that drops opponents on their heads or necks. |
4. A fighter is considered grounded (downed) when:
4.1. Both hands and fists are placed on the mats/sparring area. 4.2. The fighter’s back is against the mats/sparring area. 4.3. The fighter drops to one knee and/or fails to defend themselves. |
